Why Did God make us?

Dear Charlotte, 

This question is very important. God is all sufficient and powerful. This means he is perfect and lacks nothing. God chose to make us. We see in Genesis 1 God creates all things for good. 

#1 GOD MAKES US FOR GOOD

Think of your favorite toy or artwork you made. Creating something you love brings joy. This is what God did. He created us and said “it was very good” (Genesis 1:31)

#2 GOD MAKES US TO BE IN RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM

God created us to be like Him so that we can have a relationship with him. “It is not good for man to be alone” Genesis 2:18 

#3 GOD MAKES US TO REFLECT HIM 

We are made in the image of God to reflect this image —----> “God” to everyone. “God created human beings in his own image.” (Genesis 1:27) 

God made us for so many beautiful reasons and because He Loves Us.
